MMTs which have force sensing structure and a number of magnetic materials are driven by permanent magnets attached to X-Y-and θ stages.
Microorganism and MMTs are observed by a microscope.
The dual-arm MMT can manipulate and stimulate microorganism as a robot hands.
This method enables to measure anywhere within a chip, to manipulate microorganism with a high dexterity, and to stimulate them in any point and position.
So, we can investigate microorganism specifically with high throughput.
